TEA THERAPY • a contemplative group practice for a soft start of the year

Tea has been used for centuries as a plant medicine, not only for its healing properties for the body, but also for the mind & the spirit.

It acts as a gentle catalyst — amplifying interoception, sharpening sensory intelligence & inviting a state of embodied observation that is deeply relaxing & intensely revealing at the same time.

From a space of dynamic stillness & echoing silence, TEA THERAPY SESSIONS invite into a slow, intentional meditative practice woven with gentle somatic attunement, intuitive inquiry & grounded presence.

We work with high-quality ceremonial tea as a psycho-sensory medium to explore more subtle states of awareness.

As the nervous system settles, perception refines. As warmth spreads through the body, tension softens, the mind naturally reorganizes itself & a calm, coherent form of clarity begins to arise.

THIS PRACTICE IS ESPECIALLY NOURISHING FOR THOSE WHO:

  • hold many responsibilities, busy schedules or work with complex systems that demand sustained mental activity
  • are at an intersection in life and seek clarity for the path ahead
  • want to deepen or refresh their meditation practice through a sensory, shared entry point
  • long for a gentle space of shared presence to decompress & reconnect with body, breath, inner trust & intuitive knowing
  • want to refine their vision & meet their next steps through presence rather than analysis & over-intellectualisation

EACH SESSION WEAVES:

  • intentional tea meditation rooted in the ancient practice of Cha Dao (the Way of Tea)
  • creative contemplation as a mode of inquiry
  • nervous system regulation through pacing, midfulness & somatic attunement
  • a shared field of deep listening & collective coherence

No belief system is required. No spiritual identity is assumed. Only the willingness to sit, to feel & to let perception reveal what has been quietly brewing within.

"I was really surprised by how deep I could go." — N.

"I keep coming back to these tea ceremonies, because they hold a structure, but offer so much variation every time, always leaving me with profound new insights, clarity and so much more trust in myself and my path." — B.
