”Sweden’s Diamond Dogs are one of the coolest bands on earth” /Wilko Johnson, Dr Feelgood.

DIAMOND DOGS Swedish rock group formed 1991 in Katrineholm, Södermanland, by Sören ”Sulo” Karlsson, Anders ”Boba” Lindström and Henrik ”The Duke of Honk” Widen. Influenced by British early 1970’s Rhythm and Blues.

On September 11, 2026, thirty-five years after the band’s birth, Diamond Dogs released their sixteenth original album ”Similar Shakes Different Distortion”. Recorded at legendary Capricorn Studios during the Diamond Dogs’ Little Richard-Tour, in and around Macon, Georgia, USA in 2025.

Diamond Dogs usually only tour abroad, and following the release of their new album, they have played a number of concerts in both Spain and England this autumn.

However, every now and then, the group performs a few select shows back home in Sweden, and this night at Musikhuset is one of those occasions. The audience in Gävle can look forward to a long, boozy rock'n'roll evening with songs from all of their albums, delivered with fuzzy fiddles, gritty guitars, pounding pianos and Santa’s own reindeer. Let’s get merry!
