VALV1 Comedy on Tour is a touring version of the club concept that has, in a short time, become extremely popular in Stockholm.
The club’s frontmen Hjalmar Lind and August “Sommarkatt1” Mether are bringing two secret comedians, handpicked from this year’s VALV1 nights. In addition to really great stand-up comedians, the VALV1 lottery is also coming south, with its iconically odd prizes.
Hjalmar and August both got their comedic training in Uppsala’s student theatre scene, where they wrote scripts, directed and acted in front of large audiences, but later switched to stand-up. August also has a successful music and comedy influencer career under the artist name “Sommarkatt1”.
VALV1 started in August 2025 and has since performed more than 30 sold-out shows in a row, with a total audience counted in the thousands. The touring version of the club has also performed at Reginateatern in Uppsala.
