The Swedish-Danish band David’s Angels is renowned for its explosive and unpredictable live performances—concert experiences that truly go beyond the ordinary. In autumn 2026, they embark on a tour together with world-class trumpeter and Grammy Award winner Ingrid Jensen.
Hailed by DownBeat Magazine as one of the most important improvisers of the future, Jensen has performed with leading artists such as Maria Schneider, Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Jeff “Tain” Watts, and is currently active in the award-winning supergroup Artemis.
David’s Angels and Ingrid Jensen have shared a musical connection for 17 years, though they have not toured together since 2017. Now they reunite for what will be their final tour together—a rare opportunity to experience this remarkable collaboration live before the band goes their separate ways.
David’s Angels has received widespread critical acclaim. Their latest live album was described as “the best I’ve heard in a long time” (Orkesterjournalen), and vocalist Sofie Norling has been praised for her powerful artistry and expressive presence. The group has also gained international recognition, including endorsements from trumpeter Dave Douglas, and its members have received multiple awards and top rankings within the jazz world.
Don’t miss this powerful and emotionally charged concert, where lyrical interplay meets raw energy—angelic and brutal at the same time.
