On our stunning island, you're invited to an intimate evening featuring a specially curated five-course menu, paired with a delightful beverage selection – signed by one of Sweden’s most respected gastronomic pioneers.
About Ulf Wagner In 2024, Ulf Wagner celebrated 50 years of dedication to the culinary arts. He was the first in Gothenburg to be awarded a Michelin star, which he received in 1989 at the restaurant The Place. More stars followed – for both Basement and Sjömagasinet. As one of Sweden’s most influential restaurateurs, he has operated award-winning restaurants both nationally and internationally, and has been named Sweden’s top sommelier. Ulf is also a familiar face on Swedish television, known for his role as the castle chef in ten seasons of "Stjärnorna på slottet" and as a contestant on "Kockarnas kamp".
With passion, dedication, and a unique ability to merge tradition with innovation, he continues to shape Swedish gastronomy – and we are incredibly proud to welcome him to Pater Noster!
About Pater Noster Pater Noster – A home on the horizon, located on the remote lighthouse island of Hamneskär in the outermost archipelago of Bohuslän, is an internationally award-winning destination. The historic lighthouse keeper’s residence from 1868 has been carefully transformed into a hotel where cultural heritage, design, and gastronomy come together in a unique, holistic experience. Among the accolades honoring the destination are “World’s Best Hotel Concept,” “The Grand Tourism Award,” and “Hotel Destination of the Year, Sweden 2024.”
Out here, sustainable gastronomy is at the heart of everything, with a strong belief in locally sourced ingredients, the sea's delicacies and the rich flavors of seaweed.
Transport to the island Your ticket includes a scenic RIB boat ride, to and from the island. The trip takes approximately 20 minutes and travels at a comfortable speed. Life vests are provided on board.
