It’s time once again for a concert with Sweden’s largest choir, and this time we’re joined by special guest Evelina Gard. As usual, Magnus Ahlgren is musical director, and everything is led by Putte Nelsson.

Team Putte In 2006, Putte Nelsson founded the choir Sjung Nu in Stockholm together with Lasse Axelsson. In November 2016, Team Putte celebrated ten years as a choir with two sold-out concerts at Berwaldhallen. Putte Nelsson won Körslaget on TV4 in 2012 with his choir from his hometown of Vetlanda, and before that he was the pianist on Så Ska Det Låta (SVT). Team Putte now has two choirs in Stockholm plus choirs in Linköping and Uppsala, with more than 1,700 singers across the four choirs, all led by Putte. In May 2026, the choir celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand concert at Hovet in Stockholm, featuring 1,700 singers, a full orchestra and a line-up of guest artists.

Evelina Gard Evelina Gard may be a new name to some, but she has been in the music business practically her whole life. She grew up in a musical family that toured extensively in the ’80s and ’90s. Evelina sang with her mother and her two sisters while her father played piano and sometimes ran the backing tracks. Evelina writes her own music and is celebrating 25 years as an artist this year. She also arranges music and has led many choirs, and we’re delighted to have her as our guest this time.
