It’s concert time again for Sweden’s largest choir — this time divided into two choirs, each with its own concert. Settle into one of Berwaldhallen’s seats and be swept away by gospel, soul, pop, and a touch of Swedish folk music. This time’s guest artist is Martin Stenmarck, and everything is led by Putte Nelsson.

Putte Nelsson started the choir Sjung Nu in Stockholm in 2006 together with Lasse Axelsson. In November 2016, Team Putte celebrated its 10th anniversary with two sold-out concerts in Berwaldhallen. Putte Nelsson could previously be seen as the winner of Körslaget on TV4 in 2012 with his choir from his hometown Vetlanda, and before that as the pianist on Så Ska Det Låta (SVT). Today, Team Putte includes two choirs in Stockholm as well as in Linköping and Uppsala, with a total of over 1,700 singers across the four choirs — all led by Putte. In 2026, it will be time for the 20th anniversary, which is planned to be celebrated in grand style.

Martin Stenmarck has performed on the musical stage, playing leading roles in Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story. He has also participated in Melodifestivalen, winning in 2005 with the song “Las Vegas.” Martin has toured with “Ladies Night” and released a large catalog of his own music. Tonight, we’ll hear a brand-new Christmas song — along with a few beloved classics and perhaps even something by Elvis Presley.
