Why are so many people feeling bad when we can feel so good? At the psychiatric clinic Care, profit is prioritized over well-being and the most diagnoses yield the greatest dividends. Psychology student Johannes doesn't fit in at all at his internship at Care, but he soon meets patients Rose who has problems with her nipples, realtor Markus who cries at viewings, Emily who is being investigated for ADHD and then performance artist Rakel who fights back against personal injustices with dance. Together they form an odd group - The Dance Club, where they explore whether there are other cures than diagnoses and pills to relieve the pain bubbling under the surface.
Lisa Langseth is in charge of the script and direction. The cast includes Alva Bratt, Nils Wetterholm, Evelyn Mok, Matias Varela, Julia Franzén and Pernilla August. Producers are Maria Dahlin and Veronika Öhnedal, Meta Film Stockholm.
