For over three decades, Anders Jansson and Johan Wester have made the Swedish people laugh with unforgettable characters, classic sketches and a comedy world entirely their own.
From the early years in Lund and productions such as Prins Gröt i frukostlandet and En överdos kaffe to the success of HippHipp!, they have created some of Sweden’s most beloved comedy characters.
At Lund Comedy Festival, Anders and Johan meet in a unique on-stage conversation led by Mats Nilsson. Together they look back on the journey from student humour to cult television history. How were the favourite sketches actually born? How did they develop the characters and scripts? What still feels just as funny today – and what do they see differently from today’s perspective?
During the evening, there will be stories from recordings and performances, personal favourites and reflections on today’s HippHipp!
An afternoon that is both nostalgic and forward-looking, about Swedish humour, creativity and the friendship behind some of our most quoted sketches.
