This autumn, Thursday Jazz invites you to an inspiring series of live jazz evenings filled with swing, musical excellence, and outstanding performances. The programme features everything from tributes to Swedish jazz icons and contemporary jazz to hot jazz and jazz songs. Every Thursday offers a unique live music experience where artistry, atmosphere, and a passion for jazz take centre stage.
This evening, we welcome Blue Escape & Johanna Lillvik for a performance rooted in the blues traditions of jazz, with influences from boogie-woogie, soul, and gospel. Much of the repertoire draws inspiration from the rich musical heritage of New Orleans. Johanna Lillvik is a charismatic vocalist with a captivating stage presence, joined by a group of highly accomplished musicians whose deep understanding of these musical traditions brings every performance to life.
