A new lesbian & queer concept is coming to town. The concept itself is towards lesbians but invites all queers & allies to join the party. The goal with this concept is to make an inclusive safe space within the community. All LGBTQQIP2SAA + are welcome. The name of the club is chosen as tribute to Audre Lorde & this special night we have invited a fantastic DJ from New York who’s been working many years with the Audre Lorde Project.

This premiere we have a gorgeous lineup of 5 DJs & 2 big dancefloors. Floor one: The vibe we are going for is to make it feel like you walk in to a sweaty & groovy dancefloor floor in New York: The Music will be: Hip Hop, R’n’B, Afrobeat, Reaggaton, Latin, Dancehall & more.

Floor two: “Klackarna i taket & love songs” Here you can expect to sing a long and let that fast energy out. Love songs, schlager, top 40, EDM, Retro.

Tikka Masala (New York) DJ Tikka Masala’s musical selections span genres including hip hop, reggaeton, pop, bhangra, dancehall, classic house and global bass. With almost 20 years of experience DJ-ing in NYC’s most iconic bars and clubs, they also specialise in grassroots LGBTQIA movement building by day. They’ve had residencies at The Rubin Museum, the Asia Society, Henrietta Hudson, to name a few. Tikka’s intention is to bring marginalised people closer to liberation through music and collective action.

They have DJ-ed globally, including the Obama White House’s Diwali Celebration in 2010. From 2018-2020 Tikka was on the NYC Mayor’s Office’s Nightlife Advisory Board , bridging the worlds of nightlife and public policy. At that time they also coordinated communications for The Audre Lorde Project, an iconic movement education and organising centre for Queer People of Color in NYC. Tikka wants you to feel safe in being your whole self, to feel your life experience and joy reflected in the musical selection, and for you to find immersive uninhibited joy on the dance floor.
