For what began life as something of a side project for Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish, a labour of love, a homage to the classic country duets of the 60’s and 70’s, My Darling Clementine has grown and grown, and to some degree, has even overtaken the solo careers of it’s two main protagonists.

In a twelve year period they have released six critically acclaimed albums, a DVD collection, and played over 800 shows right across the world. The numerous accolades and awards they have won has placed the band at the forefront of the ever burgeoning Americana scene

We are delighted to welcome My Darling Clementine (aka Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish) as they continue to tour in support of their most recent, critically acclaimed release 'Country Darkness - the songs of Elvis Costello’

The album is a collaboration between Michael and Lou, and Costello's long-time, right-hand man, the brilliant Steve Nieve. They have taken 12 Costello songs and re-worked them for duet adding their own inimitable style

The current live show will feature a number of the Costello songs, as well as many favourites from the duo's 10 year, 5 album back catalogue. Also featured are songs from Michael’s 2022 solo album, the sublime 'singer songwriter masterpiece' ‘The Struggle,’ while they will also showcase brand new material from the forthcoming new My Darling Clementine album, due out in June “King and Dalgleish have earned their place in the role call of great country duettists” - UNCUT
