CHAD WACKERMAN & THE L.A. ALL-STARS + support: Jeff Aug

The legendary drum Chad Wackerman and the L.A. All-Stars is a unique showcase of incredible musicality, chemistry, and energy that is not to be missed. This is a very rare chance to see this group of contemporary musical heavyweights perform together on the same stage.

Chad Wackerman, Alex Machacek, Jimmy Haslip and Steve Hunt will play their own compositions, selected material from known collaborators such as Allan Holdsworth, the Yellow Jackets, as well as some of the most purely insane, mind-blowing, never-to-be- copied, one-night-only, “you-really-had-to-be-there” improvisational jams and on-the-spot compositions.

Chad Wackerman is best know as the most-recorded and longest-touring drummer with Frank Zappa, as well as a lengthy history of music collaboration with guitar icon Allan Holdsworth.

Alex Machacek (guitar) Is the next generation master guitarist. Alex has played with Terry Bozzio’s ‘Out Trio’, Brand X, Eddie Jobson’s UKZ, Planet X, CAB, The Scott Kinsey Group among others,

Jimmy Haslip (bass) Is a longtime member of multi-Grammy Award winning Yellow Jackets and Jeff Lorber Fusion. Jimmy has also worked with Allan Holdsworth and is a world-class producer.

Steve Hunt (keys) has recorded and toured with Allan Holdsworth, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham. Steve is a brilliant composer and improviser and an all around potent creative force.

The quartet will be supporting their new album, Quube, which will be available exclusively on this tour. Quube is a galvanic collection of nine original pieces that showcase the synergy between all four band members. The album is steeped in the traditions of eclecticism that defines and carries the torch of Holdsworth, Weather Report, and Mahavishnu Orchestra, while the upcoming dates offer a rare opportunity for European fans of modern electric fusion to witness these four renowned musicians performing the material in a setting with no musical guardrails

Jeff Aug will be performing solo acoustic instrumental fingerstyle guitar as support act for the tour. Jeff has toured with Allan Holdsworth, Scott Henderson, Greg Howe, and Stu Hamm, just to name a few.
