AFIA Festival: CLUB WOZA | Kollektivet Livet

AFIA Festival is an annual music and dance festival (est.2016) that is celebrating South African culture, with guest appearances of other african/african diasporic cultures!

During 8 days in the beginning of summer in Stockholm city we gather from different cities, countries and continents to dance, talk, experience, battle, jam and club together. As the sun doesn’t set in June in Sweden, our vibe doesn’t either, we continue celebrating unity and love for South African music and dance throughout the whole week. The main subject of the Festival is isiPantsula and South african house music. As the grand finale of this year's 8 days festival we want you to come and share your vibrant energy with us.

There is no better way to kick off the summer than a Full Day Party including an Arts & Craft Market at Kollektivet Livet on the 15th of June 2025 with a DJ line up you won’t forget! Time: 15.00 - 01.00

Club Woza is a celebration of Afro house, Tribal house, Amapiano, 3step, Gqom music and artistic creation where we come together and celebrate our existence and the beauty of life! "Woza" is a common word in South Africa, an encouraging word on the dancefloor... let's go! Come on! And it's just that vibe Club Woza is creating...an encouraging, celebrating, extatic, loving, cosmic vibe in the name of house music! Club Woza make sure to give you only the best of artists, both national and international acts, carefully selected! Come sweat with us on the dancefloor, bouncing, two-stepping and singing to the music from Africa! To think about before your visit to Club Woza and Kollektivet Livet:

• NO bags allowed, only small purses not bigger than A4-paper ((29.7 cm x 21 cm). All purses are being checked, and you are not allowed to store anything in the wardrobes. Check polisen.se if you want more info about why.
• Age limit: 18, but younger kids can get in with their parents.
• Not a seated event its a dancing event! Though there will be chairs available.

• Vi tillåter endast mindre väskor, max lika stora som ett A4-papper (29.7 cm x 21 cm). Alla väskor genomsöks och inga väskor är tillåtna att hängas in i garderob, oavsett storlek. Se Polisen.se för mer information.

• Dörrarna öppnas vanligtvis cirka 30-60 minuter före live startar. Observera att starttider alltid är ungefärliga.

• Evenemangen är stående om inget annat anges då vi har begränsat med sittutrymme.
