Neither band needs any longer introduction - the only thing you need to know is that tickets are out now AND more bands will be joining as the good folks in S.O.R.M has made sure that at least one lucky band from Studiefrämjandet will get the oppurtunity to open this fine night of hellraising!
Wolf Swedish Heavy Metal Legends Wolf continue their legacy of more than 25 years (and counting) on the band’s ninth studio album, ‘Shadowland’. Led by founding vocalist/guitarist Niklas Stålvind, the new LP is the band’s sixth offering on Century Media Records; boasting eleven tracks of intrepid, old school heavy metal. Throughout their tenure of more than a quarter-century, Wolf have toured with some of metal’s most respected names. Revered by fans for invoking the untamed bravado of bands like Iron Maiden and Mercyful Fate, the group balances harrowing, sky-piercing vocal performances with rollicking guitars and power-punching drum beats on ‘Shadowland’.
The new album boasts some serious musical strides for Wolf, most notably the continued presence of bassist Pontus Egberg (King Diamond) and drummer Johan Koleberg (ex-Therion, ex-Lion’s Share), both of whom first appeared on the band’s previous record, 2020’s ‘Feeding The Machine’. Together with Niklas Stålvind and long standing guitarist Simon Johansson the band is now an extremely solid unit.
KNOGJÄRN Sedan Karlstadsönerna 2015 tog namnet Knogjärn och beslutade sig för att satsa helhjärtat på svenska texter, har de vuxit stadigt och är idag ett väletablerat namn på rockscenerna. Bandets mix av melodisk hårdrock och metal med inslag av såväl rap som punk, har gjort att de vunnit en bred och trogen publik.
Knogjärns sjätte fullängdare ”BLY” släpptes den 24 januari 2025 och är, som namnet antyder, den hårdaste plattan bandet gjort hittills.
Det är dock på scenen som Knogjärn trivs allra bäst och bjuder alltid på en svettig och intensiv show med fullt adrenalinpåslag. Ingen lämnar en spelning med Knogjärn oberörd - fråga bara publiken på årets Sweden Rock!
S.O.R.M Forming in 2017, S.O.R.M are a hard rock/heavy metal act from Lidköping, Sweden. Shortly after the bands inception S.O.R.M released the outstanding Hellraiser EP and introduced the band to the world with the hook laden lead single and video clip Gypsy Queen. Confirming its place as an act capable of appealing to a wide heavy music audience through the bands merging of contemporary and traditional hard rock and heavy metal, S.O.R.M offered an appeal to fans of acts such as Grand Magus GHOST Night Flight Orchestra through to the icons of the genre, W.A.S.P and Judas Priest
