Lucia Celebration – Vehicle Parade & Choir Performance on Avenyn

Come and experience beautiful choral singing, sparkling lights, and a magical atmosphere on Avenyn and Götaplatsen! Feel the enchanting spirit as Gothenburg’s Lucia, together with our vehicle parade, spreads light and warmth along two of the city’s most iconic locations – Avenyn and Götaplatsen. Vehicles from past and present carry the Lucia procession along Avenyn. Gothenburg’s Lucia brings hope and Christmas spirit with a festive concert at Götaplatsen. Expect beautiful choir music, shimmering lights, and a truly magical ambiance.

The Lucia parade starts at around 17:00 along Avenyn, and the concert begins at Götaplatsen at 17:30.
