Join us on a guided walk through the castle’s Great Hall, elegant state rooms and dining halls, and discover the fascinating story of the romantic medieval castle on the shores of Lake Hjälmaren.

The guided tour lasts approximately 45–50 minutes and takes place indoors with the group. It is not possible to remain inside the castle without participating in the tour.

The tour is not specifically designed for children, but children are very welcome. Parents or guardians are responsible for accompanying children, and the group must stay together throughout the visit.

Please note that the castle is not wheelchair accessible. The guided tour is not suitable for guests who have difficulty standing or walking for longer periods, as the castle has many staircases and the tour moves through several floors.

**Tours are conducted in Swedish. **For visitors who do not speak Swedish, information texts in English are available in every room, and our guides speak English and are happy to assist if needed.

Parking is available at the visitor car park with access from Road 56, approximately a 400-metre walk from the castle. Benches are placed along the path for rest.

Please gather in the courtyard in front of the castle before the tour, where your guide will meet you. We recommend dressing according to the weather.

Photography and filming inside the castle are not permitted.

After the tour, we kindly ask guests to leave the private castle park and exit via the same entrance used on arrival, in order to preserve the tranquillity and privacy of the area.

Companion dogs are not permitted on the tour, but guide dogs are welcome. Carers/assistants with valid documentation accompanying a paying guest with a disability are admitted free of charge. Canes or crutches may be used; however, walkers/rollators are not suitable.
