Official PUBLIC Call for BaNeFF 2026 Experience stories that change, challenge, and unite – welcome to the 15th edition of BaNeFF 2026, at ABF Stockholm, Sandlersalen - Sveavägen 41!! Cinema is more than just moving images on a screen. It is a window into human experiences, hidden realities, and burning emotions. For 15 years, the Balkan New Film Festival has brought together the best, most challenging, and most innovative works from the Balkan and Nordic film worlds. This year is no exception. Our film selection offers unique voices, powerful dramas, and urgent documentaries that you cannot see anywhere else. These are stories of identity, resistance, love, and transformation – created by visionary filmmakers who dare to break new ground and reflect our complex contemporary world. Practical Information & Dates:

• Festival premiere (Stockholm): November 24–26, 2026.
• Nordic Tour: Following the main event, the festival hits the road to Malmö, Norrköping, Oslo, and Sundsvall.
• BaNeFF DOC:SHORT Edition: December 19–21, 2026. Please note that the festival program, films, and events are entirely in English. The official selection and full screening schedules will be available soon on www.baneff.com and the ABF website.
