The Circus Director's Daughter is a moving story about a father who had to leave his child - but now regrets it.

Here in the countryside in the remains of his Circus "Tsirk Mechka" we meet him, Sali. The director who has decided - this will be the last performance...

This time it's not just about circus acts and magic, something more important is at stake - his dignity Sali examines himself, invites us into a world of memories - he is a dreamer - he is a survivor. Judge him who can - what would you have done yourself. The play alternates circus acts with singing - a story that touches deeply on the human condition. It explores thoughts about guilt, love, loss and not least - the hope of reconciliation.

The performance is written and performed by Steph Molin, herself adopted from Bulgaria. During a guest performance at a Roma festival in Bucharest, questions and memories were raised that ultimately needed to be expressed - A child's fantasy about his Roma father. A musical story with a twist.
