For over 20 years, he has struggled through the Swedish comedy landscape in near-total anonymity. He has been called Sweden’s most ignored stand-up comedian, he has been called a cult comedian, he has been called the fuckup of fuckups, he has been called Henrik Martinsson.
But his name is Henrik Mattisson and he is back – 40, fat and heavily in debt.
Join Henrik Mattisson on a journey where he somewhat desperately tries to cash in on his adult ADHD and its accompanying missteps. In this show, he looks back on his time as a comedian and his time in life, but most of all, he looks forward to the end.
Mattisson’s style of humor is characterized by a naked, autobiographical storytelling style that does not belong in lecture halls or fine rooms. It belongs on a pallet in a pub. This is humor in a state of emergency. Stand-up in its purest form. Raw, genuine and funny.
Before He Puts Away the Crocss is Henrik Mattisson’s sixth show and perhaps his most urgent one yet. Because there are a couple of things he absolutely wants to say before he puts away the Crocs.
