This autumn, Thursday Jazz invites you to an inspiring series of live jazz evenings filled with swing, musical excellence, and outstanding performances. The programme features everything from tributes to Swedish jazz icons and contemporary jazz to hot jazz and jazz songs. Every Thursday offers a unique live music experience where artistry, atmosphere, and a passion for jazz take centre stage.
This Thursday, we welcome Solea, a quartet whose music moves effortlessly between traditional jazz, fusion, and blues. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Weather Report and Mike Stern, the band places improvisation at the heart of its sound. Over the past year, they have developed a tribute concert celebrating Miles Davis in anticipation of what would have been his 100th birthday. The performance pays homage to Miles and the history of jazz while adding the quartet’s own distinctive musical voice.
