BODYFEST 2026

A SPLIT-SECOND (BE) HAUJOBB (DE)
BRIDES OF THE BLACK ROOM (SE)
OLDSCHOOL UNION (FI)
PROMENADE CINEMA (GB)
AKTION : FIASKO (DE)

A SPLIT-SECOND (BE) Hallelujah! Praise Buddha, Shiva and Osiris – One of the best live bands in the EBM-scene is back at Bodyfest. We almost think of them as our house band even though it was in 2014 they last perfomed with us the last time. A hard-hitting and energetic show combined with tons of great hit songs is what we can promise to those who didn’t see the show in 2014. Be sure not to miss “Flesh”, “Mambo Witch”, “On Command”, “Rigor Mortis” together with hypnotic live versions of “The Colloseum Crash” and “Colonial Discharge”. This will be a gig to remember….again.

Haujobb (DE)
Since the early 1990s, Haujobb have played a decisive role in reshaping European electronic music. While many contemporaries stayed close to traditional EBM and industrial, Haujobb expanded their sound with complex structures, atmospheric textures and emotional depth. Their debut Homes & Gardens set the tone – cool, reflective and unexpectedly accessible.

Albums such as Solutions for a Small Planet, Ninetine and Polarity further established their approach to electronic music as exploration rather than formula. Known internationally for intense live shows, including US tours with Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly, Haujobb have remained artistically consistent through change.

This journey culminates in The Machine in the Ghost – a distilled statement of what Haujobb have stood for since the beginning: electronic music as a constantly evolving, thinking organism.

The Brides of the Black Room (SE)
The Brides of the Black Room return to Bodyfest once again. Their debut album Blood & Fire (2021) introduced a striking audiovisual narrative, unfolding from Ambulance to Watch Me Burn. Their first official live show took place at Bodyfest 2023 – and now they return for their second.

Strengthened by their second album Commander, released last fall, and led by the ever-compelling Lea Alazam, the band continues to push forward with powerful songs and a visually captivating live show. Expect something special.

Oldschool Union (FI)
Welcome back Oldschool Union. By now it’s clear that the Finnish language fits perfectly with raw basslines and aggressive old-school EBM. It’s been 14 years since their tribute track Bodyfest earned them a spot at the 2012 festival.

Since then, the band have released three more albums, most recently Herra Ja Hidalgo. Staying true to their winning formula, they’ve even paid tribute to Sweden – name-checking fellow EBM veterans SPARK! – making it easy for us to once again welcome Oldschool Union back to Stockholm.

Promenade Cinema (UK)
Promenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop marked by dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and expressive vocals form songs that linger long after they end, drawing listeners into a world where atmosphere and emotion lead the way.

Following the success of singles Play With Fate and Under Review, their album AFTERLIFE confirms Promenade Cinema as one of the UK’s most distinctive electronic acts. Known for immersive live performances, they’ve appeared at festivals across Europe including Infest, ElectriXmas, Resistanz and NCN Festival.

Aktion : Fiasko (DE)
Aktion : Fiasko is an electropunk duo from Berlin and Erfurt, formed in late 2019 by producer Sebastian Schleinitz and frontwoman Franzi Berlina. With female vocals and socially critical lyrics – still rare in the darker electro scene – the duo aims to hit precisely that missing nerve.
