In her first solo show, she confronts her roots – or rather, her total inability to live up to them. Expect absurd stories, new insights and a fair amount of existential confusion as Dessi also navigates life as newly single.

ABOUT DESSI HIETALA
Dessi Hietala is one of Sweden’s most interesting new stand-up comedians. She moves effortlessly between the raw and the playful, with humor that is as absurd as it is uncomfortably spot-on.
With roots in the north and a clear voice of her own, she has quickly established herself on the stand-up scene. Her style is outspoken, sharp and energetic – always with a presence that draws the audience in and keeps them there.
Off stage, she can be heard in the podcast Krislugg and seen on TikTok. In 2025, she was named Newcomer of the Year at the Swedish Stand-up Gala.
