Tracks is the name of Viktor Fröjd's new work, which will be his tenth full-length work. Tracks can be a song, a track or a path.

A path to get lost on and tracks to follow in the search for "the right track". But also the needle that follows the track on the vinyl record, the sounds that arise from grains of dust, creating that recognizable crunch. A reminder of the pre-digital world.

The analog era before we went wireless. When wires connected us, when the tangle created a community. Tracks wants us to remember that the future always holds opportunities to change direction, to build something different.

Yared Tilahun Cederlund and Viktor Fröjd have worked together for many years in several acclaimed works. Now, as a duo, they want to use the interaction they have developed through rhythm, mystery and friendship.

PRESS "The fact that everything in "Tracks" happens in such perfect interaction, playful yet tightly choreographed, means that at times I sit in a trance" Sara Berg Sydsvenskan "The two dancers physically and poetically shape the power of music into a present moment" Ingela Brovik Danstidningen
