Jazz @ Villa Foresta

Rigmor Gustafsson is considered one of Europe’s leading and most popular jazz artists, with a long, diverse and award-winning career behind her. Among other accolades, she has received the Royal Academy’s Jazz Prize, Swedish Radio’s “Guldkatten” award, and the Litteris et Artibus medal from His Majesty the King of Sweden. She has also been awarded a Swedish Grammy for her album Alone with You, featuring only her own compositions, and three of her albums have achieved Gold status. Since 2017, Rigmor has been a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

Together with her quartet, she takes us this evening on a fascinating journey through the enchanting world of jazz. Expect original works as well as interpretations of both familiar and unexpected artists. There will be something here for the devoted jazz enthusiast as well as for those experiencing live jazz for the very first time.

The house is open all day. Doors to the concert hall open at 8:00 PM, and the concert begins at 8:30 PM. Please note that the concert is seated only.
