In a dark hotel bar, the Joker and the Thief meet for the first time? Friction and confusion arise, but the songs provide clarity and answers to both of them. Throughout the performance, they confront their demons, open up about their hopes and dreams, and help each other remember why they are right here.

All songs are linked and intertwined with short scenes based on stories (and lies) about Bob Dylan's life and work. It’s a surreal, stylistic, and Dylan-esque journey where the Joker and the Thief meet for the first time, and they soon realize that they have some form of connection. The conflict between the characters has a strong Waiting for Godot-feel and evokes confusion, recognition, and a sense of community with the audience. The performance touches on themes such as friendship, dreams, love, and war. Themes that, undoubtedly, are just as timeless and constantly relevant as the songs and lyrics Bob Dylan wrote over 50 years ago.
