Four years ago, 13-year-old Finn killed his kidnapper and escaped. He became the only survivor of The Grabber. But true evil conquers death… and the phone rings again.

Four-time Oscar® nominee Ethan Hawke returns to the most sinister role of his career, as The Grabber seeks revenge on Finn (Mason Thames) from beyond the grave by threatening his little sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw).

As the now 17-year-old Finn struggles with life after the kidnapping, headstrong 15-year-old Gwen begins receiving phone calls from the black phone in her dreams, seeing terrifying visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp called Alpine Lake.

Determined to solve the mystery, and put an end to both her own and her brother's suffering, Gwen convinces Finn to accompany her to the camp during a winter storm. There, she discovers a shocking link between The Grabber and her own family's history.

Together, she and Finn must confront a killer who has become more powerful in death, and more significant to them, than either of them could have imagined.
