A Look Towards Ukraine and Estonia

An evening of lectures where architectural experts from Estonia and Ukraine share insights on the building culture in these forested regions. How are Ukraine’s unique wooden churches preserved in the midst of war? Is it possible to live a modern life in an age-old building type? What can Sweden and Estonia learn from each other when it comes to building conservation? Three short lectures in English. The program is part of the project SUSWOOD: Sustainable approach to wooden buildings – innovation based on traditional knowledge, funded by the Swedish Institute.
