Hazel Brugger has officially reached the comedy Olympus. Sold-out arenas, a million-strong online audience, international appearances from London to New York—and, as the crowning achievement, hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. In her fifth comedy program, “Good Evening Europe,” the “Queen of quick-wittedness” explores the strange in-between world of glamour and manure, stardom and supermarkets. It’s about success, expectations—and why fame, as a mother, is about as useful as a designer dress when changing diapers.
Hazel Brugger is a stand-up comedian and host. Born in the US, raised in Switzerland, and now based in Germany, she is known for her sharp, dry humor and her versatility across stage, television, streaming platforms, and social media. Throughout her career, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Deutscher Comedypreis, Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis, Salzburger Stier, and the Swiss Comedy Award. With her popular podcast and YouTube series, she regularly tops the charts.
