It is rehearsal weeks for best friends Bert and Åke when Åke falls in love for the first time in his life.

Her name is Molly. The same Molly that Bert has also fallen in love with! And Molly and Bert try out together and she seems to like him. And Åke knows nothing!

Complications, lies and embarrassing situations quickly pile up on top of each other to finally explode and Bert risks losing both his best friend and his great love.

Axel Adelöw plays Bert, with Viggo Rapo in the role of Åke and Matilda Gross as Molly. Josefin Neldén (Vår tid är nu) and Klas Eriksson (Leif & Billy) play Bert's parents. The film has been directed by Manuel Concha (Suedi). Tapio Leopold (Bert's Diary, Day by Day, Strul) has written the script based on Anders Jacobsson's and Sören Olsson's popular characters. Rebecka Lafrenz (The Jönsson League is back, Bert's diary, Authentic Horror) and Helena Franck (The Bonus Family, Sjölyckan) are producers.
