This autumn, Thursday Jazz invites you to an inspiring series of live jazz evenings filled with swing, musical excellence, and outstanding performances. The programme features everything from tributes to Swedish jazz icons and contemporary jazz to hot jazz and jazz songs. Every Thursday offers a unique live music experience where artistry, atmosphere, and a passion for jazz take centre stage.
Tonight, Mango Django takes the stage. Paying tribute to guitar legend Django Reinhardt and the swinging tradition of Manouche jazz, the band performs with the same classic line-up as Django's legendary Hot Club de France. Their music is warm, elegant, and richly expressive, combining heartfelt acoustic jazz with irresistible swing. Much of their repertoire consists of original compositions, showcasing the quartet's distinctive sound and musical craftsmanship. Playful, deeply rooted in tradition, yet never predictable, Mango Django promises an evening of exceptional musicianship and timeless charm.
