Fifteen years ago, the feared gangster leader, the Janitor's top hitman, the Auditor, disappeared without a trace with a wagonload of gold. After years of searching, the Janitor has now found out where the Auditor is... In Rio, Rio de Janeiro. The young gangster Sonny is tasked with going to Rio to bring back both the gold and the Auditor's head. Sonny, who once had the Auditor as a father figure, cannot even in his wildest fantasies imagine what awaits in Rio....

"The Auditor in Rio" is a humorous play that, using the style of film noir, explores the contemporary male role and its limitations.
