Welcome to a colourful, genre-crossing performance where music from different parts of the world comes together in a vibrant melting pot! Based on a Bollywood-inspired version of Rossini’s opera The Italian Girl in Algiers, the audience is invited to enjoy a show featuring professional musicians and singers, with guest appearances by students from the local School of the Arts.

The event is free of charge, but advance booking is required. Drop-in tickets are available subject to availability.

BollywoodOpera is an interdisciplinary performing arts production in which opera meets classical Indian dance. Professional singers and dancers perform in collaboration with students and activities from the School of the Arts. The project has previously been performed in Stockholm, including in Botkyrka and in collaboration with Parkteatern.
