Riftbound Showdown Series @ Malmö Game Week

The first ever Riftbound Showdown in the Nordics. Twelve rounds of Swiss across two days, a full weekend of side events, a prize wall stacked with product, and Regional Championship and Regional Qualifier invites on the line.

THE MAIN EVENT

Saturday, all times CEST.

• 10:00 Round 1 begins

Saturday is 7 rounds of Swiss at High OPL, Best-of-Three, 60 minute rounds. Every player on 5-2 or better advances to Sunday for 5 further rounds of Swiss, followed by a Top 8 single elimination bracket. Twelve rounds of Swiss in total.

A booster box contains 24 Riftbound Vendetta booster packs. Every player finishing in the Top 32 takes home at least one full booster box. Placement prizing may be adjusted if final attendance falls materially short of 300.

SIDE EVENTS

Side events are ticketed separately and open to all. All side events are subject to change. A complete schedule will be shared out in the future with tickets going live at a specific date & time.

Each event named after a Poro will include an Overnumbered Poro card awarded to the winner. In the case of multiple winning placement records, the card will be randomly assigned.

Friday 25 September

• Daring Poro, 1v1 Sealed. Bo3 Swiss, 4 rounds, max 64 players.
• Plundering Poro, Super Nexus Night. Bo1 1v1 Constructed, 3 rounds, max 128 players.

Saturday 26 September

• Pouty Poro, 1v1 Constructed. Bo3 Swiss, 4 rounds, max 64 players. Starts after Main Event round 3.

Sunday 27 September

• Veteran Poro, 1v1 Rebound. Get your chance to get revenge from the main event. 6 rounds of Swiss, Best of 3. Top cut prizing including a Zed, Master of Shadows Signed Overnumbered and a Veteran Poro Overnumbered to the winner, with other Overnumbered cards to the top 8.
• Mystic Poro, 2v2 Constructed. Bo1 Swiss, 4 rounds, max 16 teams (32 players).

ON DEMAND EVENTS

Lonely Poro On Demand events run Saturday and Sunday with no fixed start time.

Every On Demand event ticket equals one entry into the Lonely Poro raffle. An Overnumbered Lonely Poro is raffled out on Sunday evening and posted to the winner if they have left.
