About the Film Shot on location in New York and New Jersey, Gazelle draws from lived experience and favors an intimate, naturalistic approach to storytelling.
Co-directed by Nadir Sarıbacak and Samy Pioneer. Written by Ayhan Hulagu and Nadir Sarıbacak.
The film premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival, where it received the VIFF Vanguard Audience Award, and has since screened at the Chicago International Film Festival, Dances With Films New York (Industry Choice Award), Sedona International Film Festival, and the Aegean Film Festival, where it had its European premiere.
