BUS - Bedårande Under Stress

The popular cabaret divas are back with a new show.

Blossom Tainton, Gladys del Pilar, Kayode "Kayo" Shekoni, Vivian Cardinal, and Fransesca Quartey, dust off their feather boas and tackle the sequel to the hit show B.U.S! - Tan without sun. Thirteen years have passed since the last time and a lot has happened in the meantime. The five singers, dancers and actors – some with new careers on their CVs – are now in their 60s. Where are they now and what have they learned from life so far? Under the direction of the eminent director Josette Bushell-Mingo, they alternate glamorous song and dance numbers with personal reflections on important crossroads, ideals and the not-so-glamorous downsides of aging.

B.U.S - Adorable Under Stress is a dear reunion, a crackling cabaret that opens up for an honest conversation with the audience about what it's like to live as a black woman in a changing Sweden.
