100 Liters of Gold is the funniest (and only) Finnish western you've ever seen about sisterhood and alcoholism.

Pirkko and Taina are two sisters who follow their family tradition of making sahti*. When their third sister Päivi shows up one day with her new fiancé, she wants them to make 100 liters of sahti for her upcoming wedding. The sisters immediately start preparing because the perfect sahti takes several weeks to make. Both their reputation and family relationships are now at stake, they must make a fantastic batch of sahti. And they succeed, so well that the mandatory tasting goes completely off the rails. Two days before the wedding, the sisters wake up to the harsh reality: the sahti is gone. This is where a race against time begins where all means are allowed.

A humorous, dark story about being stuck in the past, about self-loathing and about forgiveness.

*Sahti is a beer brewed in a small area in Finland. The small town of Sysmä is often considered the birthplace of the drink. Due to the way sahti is made, it has a very short shelf life and must therefore be consumed quickly after preparation.
