LUND COMEDY FESTIVAL

Lantzkampen on P1 is a silly quiz about the week’s news, humor and general knowledge, all wrapped up in a neatly packaged radio format.

For a competition program, surprisingly few people care about who wins. Instead, the enjoyment comes from the guests’ wit combined with the potpourri of sound illustrations from the past week, which have been cleverly transformed into quiz questions by the excellent editorial team.

The rounds in Lantzkampen are as changeable as the news cycle itself, but are always clear and relevant. Lantzkampen is not afraid of headings such as: “FIFA or cartoon?” or “Even journalists and ministers can be wrong”. Other rounds are recurring, such as “How does it end?”, “What are they talking about?” and “True or False” — also known as “The Quick Questions”.

The host of Lantzkampen is Annika Lantz, and the judge is Sara Lövestam. Sara is an author, SFI teacher, grammar fetishist and can also cut anything with scissors.

In short: Lantzkampen is a quiz where it is just as difficult to be right as it is to be completely wrong. Do not miss it, at Lund Comedy Festival from the Concert Hall in Stadshallen.

The show is in Swedish.
