Tragedy, to a Happy Melody, with Tobias Erehed
Tobias Erehed has had great success at Lund Comedy Festival over the years – and now he is back! With a brand-new work-in-progress performance, he invites the audience to follow the creation of his upcoming show.
In this tryout, he bravely tackles heavy and highly topical subjects, doing what he does best: transforming seriousness into humorous songs and sharp observations. Starting from his own thoughts about a world that sometimes feels overwhelming – with war, anxiety and all the demands of everyday life – Tobias tries to find a way to regain control. How? By dressing the difficult in a cheerful melody and twisting the perspectives with humor.
The result is a unique mix of stand-up and original comedy songs, performed with guitar. Will he succeed in making the heavy feel light? That remains to be seen. But one thing is certain – it will be a show you will not forget anytime soon!
