Lamin Fofana makes music that listens to history as much as it imagines the future. Working between sound, politics, and diasporic memory, he builds sonic worlds that dislocate and reframe — places where displacement itself becomes form.

Fofana is based in New York but moves globally through installation, performance, and recorded work. His compositions — drawing from field recordings, archival material, and thickly layered electronics — are often shaped as meditations on migration, loss, and the afterlife of colonialism. Projects like The Open Boat trilogy and Unsettling Scores lean into dissonance and fracture, while newer releases such as Here Lies Universality and his collaboration with the Doudou Ndiaye Rose family explore polyrhythmic tensions between ancestry and abstraction.

Fofana’s work has been featured at Tate Liverpool (Dark Waters), Atonal Festival Berlin (ALL TENETS INTERACTED & KINETICS REMAINED OCEANIC), Haus der Kunst Munich, and the Venice Biennale. He was a nominee for the National Gallery Prize in Germany and received a Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant in 2021. His monthly show on NTS Radio extends these themes into deep listening sessions that function like essays in sound. https://laminfofana.bandcamp.com/music

**Support: Klofink **Klofink is the moniker of Linus Jönsson – producer, musician, and DJ hailing from the northern Swedish village of Hammerdal, now based in Malmö. Shaped by the dense forests and stark mountains of Jämtland, his sonic landscape drifts between ambient, dub, downtempo, and industrial rhythms – slow, hypnotic, and at times uncanny; equal parts ritual and dream. His debut vinyl, released on the Malmö-based label Fasaan, captures this introspective depth with tactile precision. Beyond live performances and releases, he also hosts the monthly radio show We Lie Low on Retreat Radio, a platform where he continues to delve into the slow, deep, and psychedelic edges of sound. https://klofink.bandcamp.com
