Mi von Ahn
Hailing from Västerbotten in northern Sweden, Mi von Ahn has drawn comparisons to The War on Drugs from Clash Magazine. Her music combines melodic, expansive indie rock with elements of trip hop and shoegaze, bringing shimmering soundscapes together with deeply personal songwriting.
On her new album Delta Veins, she worked with producers and co-composers Martin Hederos and Anton Sundell. Inspired by the Rapaätno river in Sarek, the album explores change, pent-up emotions and the hope of finding a new way forward. For the first time, she writes in both Swedish and English.
Since her 2018 debut Signals, Mi von Ahn has been nominated for Newcomer of the Year at the GAFFA Awards and toured as a support act for The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Ane Brun, Loney Dear and Christian Kjellvander, among others.
Hök
Hök also arrive at Stage with a new album under their belt. Released on August 28, DAGDRÖM / MARDRÖM was recently celebrated with a release show of their own. Next up is Umeå and a night alongside Mi von Ahn.
