Euphoric indie rock, explosive choruses and one of the most talked-about acts in the new wave of Swedish indie rock. On Saturday 27 February 2027, Svart Ridå comes to Stage Umeå as part of the band’s forthcoming spring tour, with Duschpalatset as support.
Throughout 2026, Svart Ridå has been winning over ever-growing audiences, city by city and listener by listener. The year culminated in a celebrated performance at Way Out West in Gothenburg — and now the journey continues north.
Ahead of their third studio album, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed breakthrough record Aponia from 2025, Svart Ridå releases the single Gränsen till undergång on 9 October. The band sounds noisier and heavier than before, without losing what has become their trademark: explosive, instantly memorable choruses and a live energy that is hard to resist.
Since their debut in 2022, Svart Ridå has established itself as one of the most exciting bands in the new wave of Swedish indie rock. Their achievements include three GAFFA Awards, a notable TV debut on Musikhjälpen, a rendition of Kent’s Om du var här for Spotify Singles, and two Manifest Award nominations.
