Poets in the Garden is a monthly Poetry and Music event exploring a new theme each gathering. Featuring diverse artists, we create inspiring spaces for creativity, connection, and community. Hosted at venues including the Nobel Peace Centre and locations across Oslo, each evening concludes with an open mic (we invite you to share).
Hansine Killingmoe Såstad (Hanzina) is a singer, songwriter, producer, and community arts facilitator based in Oslo. For the past eight years, she has been creating music with her indie-pop electronic band Wibes, who are currently working on an EP set for release this year. Wibes' debut track, Mystic Whale Love, was featured as part of a BBC project combining music and animal awareness. Inspired by a deep love for the natural world, Hansine creates playful, genre-blending music that draws influences from cultures and sounds across the globe. Her DJ sets are poly-genre, tempo-morphing, dance floor love that irresistibly moves feet, hips and heart into a deep and embodied journey.
Beyond her musical work, she is the founder and host of Poets in the Garden, a monthly poetry and music concept that fosters creativity and connection, and Hjerteløke Art Club, a "bad art club" that encourages people to embrace creativity without perfectionism. Through music, art, and community events, Hansine is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect, express themselves, and explore their creativity.
Honey Viking - Magnus Sundal - Organizer of Morning Beat Oslo, MoveMakeMagic AS, Ekte Møter, and is a professional coach. Hi goes for emotional bangers and weird sound journeys and is rarely seen not dancing.
