We're setting up shop in our favourite club in town, at Tad Oslo in Skøyen (Thune tram stop). This family owned and run gallery, club and gorgeous event space / lounge has a crisp and punchy soundsystem by Shepherd Soundsystem - all Function One - and is a true delight for community hangouts and serious shakedowns.
In the morning rave business, location is everything. This is part of the reason why we wish to explore this part of town - for all the ones who pass by, live, or work around the Skøyen area. Perhaps you've been wanting to join Morning Beat for a while, but it hasn't been in your commuting flow just yet?
The Tad-events will run every 2 weeks from now, and we have a whole bunch of rock solid acts ready to set the mood for your best morning ever. Stay tuned!
The kitchen is run by Jacob Roots and his Roots and Culture brand and they will serve snacks and breakfast this morning.
About Tad Oslo: TAD Oslo is an event venue in the historic Thune Mekaniske Verksted at Skøyen. The building clearly bears its industrial history, but it is never cold here: it is warm, intimate, and designed to make you feel at home. You can feel the sound from the Funktion-One soundsystem throughout your body, experience the raw walls and art up close, and get to know the people around you. Combined with SEFI's flavors and culinary sensory experiences, inspired by "grounding sessions," we have all the prerequisites to give our guests a unique and great start of the day.
