A sound journey with Clare Hedin co-facilitated by Pamela Hiley

Within the sound is silence, within the silence is sound.

What is sound… what can it do for us? Sound transports us into expansive experiences, new places that our sensory selves already know as home. Through our floating mind and listening body, it picks us up, and delivers us to new possibilities that we can more easily access together. Sound and silence enable us to rest and reflect as our bodies journey. Within the sound is silence, within the silence is sound. Come and experience both, and see what you feel, that might dissolve some of your questions, relax you, and offer you the space to expand and let go. You too are sound and silence coming home.

What to expect: A combination of voice, shruti, gongs, and bowls will guide you to relax into your personal coherence. All will be held by the space as you journey through sound and silence. There will be voluntary sharing (sound) in small groups, and personal intention setting (silence).

Clare is thrilled to be accompanied by Taiji Master & Musician, Pamela Hiley!

Clare Hedin A trauma-informed sound & energy worker of many years, Clare is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and explorer of consciousness. Born in England, she migrated to San Francisco in her early 20s to pursue music, somatic integration, and the arts… and to discover herself! She guides participants in deepening their state of being, which she researches and teaches on her learning platform, Dynamic Emergence. She has a BA in Transformative Learning Studies, Fine Art, & Music, and an MA in Consciousness Studies, Music, and creativity. Deeply influenced by Nature from a child, she combines her multidisciplinary approach to perform, practice, and present, focusing on exploring the self-aware mind. She facilitates individual and group work using voice and deep listening practices.

Originally a visual artist, musician, and writer, she later became a singer/songwriter, a sound (& nature) artist, and a sound worker. She worked with her original music in Oakland Children’s Hospital, San Francisco, and Middlesex Hospital, London. She also designed the Sound journey curriculum for San Francisco’s Psychoacoustic Institute. She advises students in London’s Central St. Martin’s MA; Applied Imagination and performs regularly at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. She observes how sound and clarity bring people together joy and authentically, whilst also helping people get in touch with emotional trauma.
