Danish songwriter Kjartan Bue is going on an autumn tour with a strong team of musicians from the Danish avant-garde and pop scene. With elements of alternative country, danceable folk-pop and experimental improvisations, Bue creates a captivating and boundless musical universe.
Kjartan Bue's music moves freely between genres, but the common denominator is the strong, poetic lyrics - stories about everyday life, parenthood, grief and hope - delivered with a very special mix of warmth, edge and presence. On stage, he is accompanied by a five-piece ensemble with members from, among others, Girls In Airports, SVIN, Yngel and Horse Orchestra - all recognized for their ability to create new and vibrant music in the tension between the composed and the improvised.
The album SPØGELSESUNGER follows the success of MUSSE from 2021, which secured Bue playing time on P2, P3, P6 Beat and a long series of concerts - incl. Jelling Music Festival and Cinemateket's Music Film Festival, where his music video Fuglekongen was shown several times.
