Headline Flip: Masiv + Ayla + Inga Bari + secret guest
On 5 November, Headline Flip takes over Pumpehuset for a very special night of electronic music.
Usually, newer acts warm up before the bigger names take the stage. At Headline Flip, we reverse the order: a major secret Danish artist opens the night before Masiv, Ayla and Inga Bari take over. The three acts have been selected in collaboration between Roskilde Festival, which is behind Headline Flip, and the secret artist.
Together, they set the stage for a night of high energy, heavy basslines and plenty of surprises.
Headline Flip is supported by Tuborg.
Masiv
Masiv blend drum’n’bass, techno, hyperpop and dubstep into what they call “Copenhagen Bounce”. After acclaimed shows at Kaleido and Roskilde Festival this summer, the trio are ready to bring another high-energy set to Pumpehuset.
Inga Bari
Inga Bari are an experimental producer trio from Aarhus, moving between house, Caribbean soundsystem culture and Nordic techno with an emotional twist. With just three tracks released so far, they have already made their mark with a live setup packed with machines, cables and room for improvisation.
Ayla
Malmö-based singer and producer Ayla moves between dub, reggae and electronica, combining heavy basslines with melodic lightness and a free approach to genre. She has released four albums and has twice received the Årets Rytm award at Sweden’s Manifest Awards.
Secret guest
The night’s secret artist is a Danish name whose music and artistic universe have played an important role in a particular electronic music scene. At Headline Flip, you can experience the artist in an unusual role: opening for Masiv, Inga Bari and Ayla.
Special visual setting
For Headline Flip, Pumpehuset will feature a special visual installation by artist Jasmin Aiche Mahallati, who works across painting, sculpture and video, exploring themes including identity, heritage and human relationships.
