Värmländska gårdsbutiker och natur

The days wonderful tour starts at the backside of Retrovågen(exact location in confirmation email) at 10:00 and returns at 15:00. During the day, we make three beautiful stops, enjoy a delicious lunch, and have coffee.

Our first stop is Kilsviken Nature Reserve, Sweden's 3rd densest bird area. We stroll through pastures, visit bird towers, and soak in the wonderful nature of Värmland.

After this, we'll have lunch at Hygns Vilt, this beautiful deer farm with a fantastic farm shop. Here you'll find delicacies such as deer, moose & wild boar, and a wide range of homemade charcuterie. Lunch consists of the weekly salad with vegetables from Härodlingen in Åtorp, as well as charcuterie from Hygns' own production or smoked fish from Lillängshamnens fish smokehouse (also available vegetarian). Alternatively, the weekly soup - vegetarian served with sourdough bread.

After Hygn, we continue our journey to Karaby Gård. A wonderful farm with a cozy café and farm shop! Egg stand, vegetable cultivation, beekeeping, egg, outdoor pig, and lamb production. Here we get to experience the animals up close and pet the animals that come forward. Helsingefår, linderöd pigs, horses, chickens, bees, and of course dogs and cats.
