Malmö is the home of many different cultural movements and jazz is no exception. There is a strong history of jazz and impro in Malmö, Scania and the Öresund region, and Malmö Jazzmanifest wants to uphold and continue that tradition. By connecting different generations of concert arrangers, musicians and concert goers, Malmö Jazzmanifest means to build upon the local history of jazz and make the sub culture stronger and more living!

The musicians on stage are both local and from elsewhere, and diverse in age, sex and artistic expression.
