After existing between 1997 and 2001, then reforming in 2018, JD will release their third full-length, The Gray In Between in 2023. The album introduces Sean Leary (Loma Prieta) on guitar and was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Quicksand, Joyce Manor). Their new album, The Gray In Between is a raw, unapologetically blistering, yet beautiful execution of hardcore that demonstrates a honed precession in songwriting, lyrical content, and boundless passion. This album is quite possibly the band’s best, most powerful, and most realized work to date.

YOUNG MOUNTAIN www.facebook.com/youngmountainswe www.youngmountainswe.bandcamp.com Young Mountain as an idea spawned thanks to a growing weariness of the local music scene in Gothenburg, Sweden around 2012. The collective wanted to break free from the trend seeking and hollow ideals of the time and in its place create something with a more thought-provoking nature. In a cramped bunker esque basement on the island of Hisingen, they planted that seed.

The experimentation resulted in the well-received EP (We're Drowning in Slowmotion, 2014), and the LP (Lost Tree, 2018) and several EU tours that took them to well-respected festivals such as Fluff Fest and Miss the stars fest. After a long time of cryptic absence, the band is now returning with the release of "Infraröd". That serves as the band's platform to confront the ills of modern society.
